I build stuff that tackles real problems.

Founder. Data engineer. Proudly African. Two companies operating — one putting transaction data on Nigerian bus routes, one making sure early founders build the right system the first time.

What I build

all projects →

Weyz Mobility

in development

Payment infrastructure for public transport in Africa.

The wallet and card-tap layer that puts real transaction data on Nigeria's bus and ferry networks — starting on campus, scaling to city routes. Passengers tap to board; operators see revenue in real time; routes that were never measured start producing data.

Avancier Technologies

operating

Technical consulting for non-technical founders.

Architecture reviews, vendor selection, product specification and hiring briefs for early-stage African and diaspora builders — so the decisions made in the first eighteen months don't constrain the company for the next ten years.

    Weyz wallet + card-tap architecture

Reader hardware and transaction reconciliation ahead of the first campus deployment with Federal University Akure.

  • Advising

    Pre-seed founders through Avancier

Fintech, logistics and mobility teams deciding what to build before they hire their first engineer.

  • Writing

    The Backbone Thesis

An essay series on why infrastructure — not applications — is the constraint on African financial systems.

  • Reading

    Payment rails, ledgers and settlement

Working through how other markets solved offline-first transit payments before mobile money existed.

The thesis

The bus is the bank. Every fare is a transaction. Every route is a data stream. The infrastructure that moves people is the same infrastructure that moves money — and right now, it moves neither well. — from “The Bus Is the Bank”
